Third World Sudoku Championship
PARTICIPATION

 

Entries are accepted from any country / territory recognised by the International Olympic Committee. Anyone interested in participating in the World Sudoku Championship should first find out whether his / her country is represented in the World Puzzle Federation. A list of WPF member countries is available at http://www.worldpuzzle.org/members/.

If a country is represented, then its national WPF representative will decide on selection procedures. Kindly contact the respective WPF member for more details.

Candidates from a country that is not represented in the WPF can contact the WSC organizers directly. See Contact page for address.

 

All participants are expected to pay a participation fee, which covers expenses during the championship.

Fee structure is as follows:

200 EUR per person for the first three competitors from a country
250 EUR per person for fourth individual competitor and captain
300 EUR per person for guests
120 EUR single room surcharge

Fees cover

  • airport transfer on arrival / departure day
  • competition
  • accommodation on twin-sharing basis for nights of 14 / 15 / 16 April
  • buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner on 14 / 15 / 16 April and breakfast on 17 April

As the above fees cover several services, they apply even if participants were to organize accommodation elsewhere.

 

No participation requests will be entertained after 5 April 2008.
